Gastronomy in Bad Arolsen

Right at the RV park, we serve our guests coffee and cake, ice cream, and small snacks. You can relax and enjoy your vacation with a cold beer on our outdoor terrace with a lake view.

Around Lake Twiste and the surrounding area, there are numerous restaurants and cafés that invite you to linger. From traditional local cuisine to the Wetterburg theme restaurant with its special themed menus, Lake Twiste has a lot to offer.

At the Wetterburg, you can expect, among other things, a "knight's banquet with spectacle and entertainment, drinks and culinary delights" or a delicious candlelit meal, where hundreds of candles illuminate the Wetterburg in a romantic light!

In the unique Café im See with its magnificent view over the Twistesee, homemade cakes and fresh waffles with cherries and cream are served daily.

Numerous restaurants in the surrounding area invite hikers and cyclists to stop for a break. During a hike through the Waldeck region, stop off at the Fischhaus restaurant and relax in the idyllic beer garden. The restaurant and café "Zum Fischhaus" has been a popular destination for walkers and hikers since the middle of the last century.

Take a bike ride to Kugelsburg Castle, about 7 km away, and the popular Café & Restaurant "Zur Kugelsburg." The dining rooms, with 100 indoor seats and 120 on the terrace with panoramic views over the rooftops of Volkmarsen, offer home-style cooking as well as coffee and cake. The Sunday "all-you-can-eat" buffet is very popular. A rustic Landsknecht meal is available Thursday through Sunday upon reservation.
