Our service

In our kiosk/reception, with 50 seats on the outdoor terrace, we offer coffee and cake specialties, ice cream, cold drinks and small meals (such as pizza, bratwurst, potato salad and hot dogs). From April to the end of October we offer our guests a bread roll service via an external service provider. A free, specially designated area is available for car trailers and cars! On site, depending on availability, you can rent a Fiat Panda for 35 euros per day (fully comprehensive insurance with a 300 € excess) and take wonderful trips into the beautiful Waldeck region!

You can buy fishing permits from us at Twistesee! You can buy 1-day, 2-day and weekly permits from us upon presentation of a valid fishing license, which allow you to fish at Twistesee. When the trout season ends in Hesse in spring, the Twiste Dam is a popular fishing destination every year. The 121-hectare dam has drinking water quality. Brown or rainbow trout up to seven pounds are not uncommon. But eels, perch, bream, zander, carp, tench and even pike can also be caught in the lake with its pure water.
